The star-studded cast is reunited for this much anticipated sequel. Andy (Anne Hathaway) is coaxed back to the Runway magazine to smooth out a scandal. As well as being very funny it does comment on the encroachment of the corporations and AI into media.

2026 Pumpkin Patch Back again from the 10th of October we our Pumpkin patch & Spooky trail Experience. Bring the family down to pick your pumpkin from our patch and take advantage of the fun photo points, before taking a wonder through our spooky trail. Suitable for children of all ages with mini wheelbarrows and pumpkins of all sizes. This event is partially outdoors, so sensible footwear is advised along with gloves for handling the pumpkins.

Toby Buckland is a gardener, tv and radio presenter, writer & author and has presented BBC’s Gardeners world. Based in Devon, Toby now hosts the annual “Toby's Garden Festival’ at Powderham Castle. On Toby's return visit to Ticknall he will be advising us on good plants to grow now and in the future. THIS IS A TICKET ONLY EVENT!
Emmanuel Church Lunchtime Concerts
When 15th October, The concert starts at 12:45 and soup and roll lunches are served from 12:00.
We are excited to announce that the opening concert of the 2026-2027 season will be given by the Meridian Wind Quintet. Joseph Geary • flute Daniel Fergie • oboe Taran McNeil • clarinet Zander Williams • French horn Marcel Cress • bassoon These second and Third year students from the Royal Academy of Music, London, will be travelling to Emmanuel Church to perform a programme including the Wind Quintet by William Mathias and Gade’s Tango Fantasia. This promises to be a scintillating start to the season.

Ruffle Remembers: Storytelling and Remembrance Day Workshop
When 21st October, 11am - 3pm
Join Ruffle the Rail Dog and his friends as they embark on their latest adventure! There are two sessions running: 11am – 12:30pm & 1:30pm – 3pm Learn about the incredible role Airedale Terriers, just like Ruffle, played in WW1 and how purple poppies help us to remember all animals in war. Then take part in Remembrance Day themed crafts where you will be able to make your own purple poppy to display on a life-sized model of Ruffle! Copies of Ruffle’s books will be available to purchase on the day. £5 per child. Pre-booking is essential.
