The October General Meeting of the Whitwick and District u3a will be on Friday 16th October 2026 – commencing 2.00pm at Whitwick Methodist Church, 10 Hall Lane, Coalville, LE67 5FD (Whitwick end of Hall Lane) This month’s talk is by Michael Lidwell, the Whitwick and Coalville Leisure Centre Activity and Wellbeing Manager Michael will speak about what the leisure centre can offer each and every one of us. The u3a is aimed at people who are no longer in full time employment or raising a family. It is about having fun and socialising by meeting new people with a common interest. We have over 40 different groups including crafts, eating out, sports, walks, fun choir, history, gardening, quiz, line dancing, days out and theatre trips.
