Why can’t we read them? Conserving the National Trust’s libraries
Caroline Bendix is an accredited freelance library conservator with 40 years’ experience that includes work in many National Trust libraries. Caroline provides insight into the reasons for book conservation, how this is done, and finding the balance between reading and preservation for scholars of the future. 7pm for tea & coffee for a 7:30pm start at Breedon Parish Hall, Priory Close, Breedon-on-the-Hill DE73 8LF. New members are always welcome. Meetings held the 4th Wednesday of each month (except December) - and if you wish to come and see what we are all about, your first visit is FREE.
